India's industrial water challenge is not simply about treating effluent before discharging it. Increasingly, it is about creating a closed loop treating wastewater to a quality that allows it to be used again within the same facility, reducing freshwater intake, lowering discharge volumes, and managing water as a circular resource rather than a single-use input.
